About The New Inn

The New Inn is a traditional Norfolk country pub in the village of Roughton, just a few miles from Cromer and the North Norfolk coast.

We're working to make The New Inn what we believe a good village pub should be: a warm, welcoming place for locals and visitors alike, where you can call in for a pint, enjoy good pub food, meet friends, join in with something happening or simply settle down and spend an hour or two.

We're proud to be a real ale pub, alongside a well-stocked bar and a food menu built around familiar pub favourites, weekly specials and our traditional Sunday roasts.

But a village pub should be about more than what's behind the bar. We're gradually bringing more life back into The New Inn with regular events, games and community activities, while The Barn gives us a dedicated space for entertainment, groups, celebrations and private functions.

There's plenty more still to come. We're continuing to improve the pub, introduce new ideas and build on what works — while keeping The New Inn recognisably what it should be: a proper country pub at the heart of its community.
